Admissions against Normal Seats in B.Tech is made through Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) held every year in the month of April-May followed by counseling conducted by the U.P. Technical University from amongst the students declared successful in the said examination.

For admission to first year of B.Tech, Candidate must have passed intermediate examination of  U.P  Board of 10+2 Level examination or its equivalent form any recognized Board / University, securing:

Eligibility

Eligibility to appear in See-uptu : For admission to second year ( Lateral Entry ) of B. Tech

1. Lateral Entry in B. Tech for Engg. Diploma holders or B.SC Graduates with mathematics / B. Pharma  for Diploma Holders in third semester ( second year ) is open only in institutions affiliated to U.P. Technical University .
2. Candidate who have passed ‘three years Engg. Diploma form an institution located in U.P with minimum 60% marks or whose parents ( father or mother ) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and have passed three years Engg. Diploma ( with minimum 60% Marks) recognized by the board of technical education U.P in any branch of Engineering ( except Agriculture Engg. , pharmacy and Architecture) are eligible for admission to second year of Engineering / Technology.
3. For Admission to first year of MCA, candidate must have passed three years degree course from any recognized University with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Bachelor Degree Level
